June 9, 2006

Hello my friends. It is good to be back in the blogging seat again.

What am I talking about? There is no blogging seat. Get it together, Jeremy.

Well, what's going on around here? Well, I work. That's something, right?

While at work, I say my grade school principal and 3rd grade teacher. It was nice catching up, but I must admit that I had a fear of not speaking proper english around them. I think I failed. Darn.

My back has been doing well. It has been getting tired a heck of a lot easier, but I am still going easy on it. My guns (arms) have been compensating for my spine. Guns. Heh.

I'm gaining weight. About 6 months ago, I was down to my lowest weight in years: 218. I was weighed at the hospital last Tuesday. I'm up to 228. 10 lbs. in 6 months! Oh the humanity!

Well, I'll get back to coherent writing next time. At least, more coherent than this stuff you just read. I took a couple minutes of your life with this. Am I satisfied? Not really.

I Got An Owie

At work on Friday, we were moving a really heavy table. It was easily over 200 lbs. The table began to slip, so I tried to right it, and in the process, I seem to have severely strained a muscle in my lower right back. It hurts like the dickens right now, and I can't really take the muscle relaxers prescribed to me because of how it makes me feel.

It sorta bums me out because it was a needless injury. I didn't have to help those guys, I just saw that they were having a cumbersome time and needed help. They were in shape themselves, and that thing was still very heavy. I guess I'm just too nice. I've been told that before.

But still, if I had it to do again, I would. Like I said, maybe I'm just too nice.

Hello my dear friends! It has been a long time since my last post! Well I am doing great, and I miss everyone out there in cyberworld...whatever you want to call it.

I've been around, it's just that most of the people I talk to lately I see in person, so I guess you might say I've been neglecting those who read about/chat/talk to me online.

Most of my time online is spent reading email.

Well, what has happened since my last post? Well, I will be attending RSU this fall. I've already decided on a Business Administration major. That's right, I could be your boss one day... Don't worry, I think I'd be a good one.

I've been trying to brush up on some of the basics in the meantime. Mathematics would have to be my weak spot. It's just that lately with work and all, I don't have a lot of time. Krista and I are doing great, most of my free time is spent with her...time well spent. :-)

My co-worker from Tahlequah is going to teach me the basics of golf. That is, when I finally get down that way.

Oh, I finally got around to making a 2006 design t-shirt to advertise my website/make you look cool. The shirt is pretty cool, I have to admit, and it's a eye-catching shade of yellow. If you'd like a peek, click here. I hope to have a picture of me wearing it on my website pretty soon. If you are so inclined to buy it, click here. I've not marked it up, so you are only paying production costs. I'm not making a penny off of it.

TTYL, God Bless.

Ok, it's been awhile

I've not been blogging for a bit, and by my records I can see that some people have missed that...that's right, people acutally read this thing! ^_^

Anyhoo, quite a bit has happened since my last post, not a lot I can remember, but needless to say, some good, some bad, all a learning experience. Krista is currently in Tulsa, and will be until Monday or Tuesday. It's certainly different being alone in the evenings now. I used to love it, but with Krista not here, well...

She got to meet who I consider to be my spiritual mother in the faith, Cathy last week. She was in the area preaching and we made a day of it.

I've already picked out Krista's Valentines day gift. It is being specially made so I'm hoping that it will be here in time. I ordered it about a week and a half ago, but the item could take up to a month. Let's hope not.

Things have been so-so at work. I'm doing alright, but I'm feeling for my co-workers because morale is low right now. At any rate, I'd love to take a vacation.

Jeremy K. Backwater

I've been reading the blog of a tech personality that I've respected for some time. I've noticed that some people faithfully enter information on a daily basis, making me wonder when they have the time? Perhaps they hire people to write for them as them?

I don't know. All I know is with my job and my life, I don't have a lot of time to devote to writing in blogs. Some have several blogs, all nicely updated with crap that I could care less about, but they do it to impress me and you.

I've still been barking. I've not had the best week. Emotionally I've had my ups and downs. I just give thanks for those around me who've been able to tolerate me, in spite of my occasional urge to snap. I've had a lot on my mind, and when I get that stressed, I tend to lash out in inopportune moments.

Worst part about that is I used to pride myself on being able to handle stress. One of the discoveries of getting older, I suppose.

It's been quite a time for me. The Christmas/New Year's fiasco is over for me, and now things should be slowing dowm. On NYE, we had to work a 12-hour shift, whether we wanted to or not. I did, and barely made it. Unbeknownst to me, I was coming down with something.

On the 3rd, I went to work and noticed I was getting winded and tired easily. I thought it was sinus problems because of all the junk in the air from the weather and fires. I went to the doctor on the 4th, and he told me that I was on the verge of getting pneumonia. Since I got in so early, I think we caught it while we could still do something about it fairly easily.

Still, I ache, I run fevers, and bark like a dog. But I am getting better.

Merry Christmas!

I certainly hope that this day finds everyone well. I am the kind of person who believes that the gathering of friends and family supercede the giving of gifts.

Krista and I had two days of Christmas together, one with her family, and one with mine. We were both pretty nervous I suppose, since neither of us have been exposed to so many of the other's family at once. I think in the end, we both enjoyed it all.

We are so tired, though. I had my day off, go back Tuesday, she hasn't yet, so my heart goes out to her. I know how busy this week has been, and how exhausted I feel, so it has to be rough on her.

The best wishes to all who read this, and let us remember, Jesus is the reason for the season, so Merry Christmas.
